THE SAN CARLOS FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY HOLDS MONTHLY USED BOOK SALES TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP THE SAN CARLOS LIBRARY PURCHASE BOOKS, EQUIPMENT & PROGRAMS. 

TIME’S A’ WASTIN!:  NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY BOOKS FROM THE SAN CARLOS FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY.  

We would like to thank all of the patrons of our Monthly Used Book Sale.   Now, on sale for $3.00 at the book sales, we have available for your shopping pleasure and to carry home your treasures, a new and improved, bigger, better bottomed book bag (cloth).   Ask about them. 

We can always use volunteers to help sort books during the month, to stock the tables before and during the book sales, and to put away the unsold ones following the sales.  If you would like to help, please leave a note for Debbie K0.

STARTING MARCH 20, 2010, due to city-wide budget cuts, the hours of operation of all San Diego Libraries are being reduced.  The city-wide library budget was reduced by $3.8 million.

The San Carlos Branch Library’s hours will be:  

Sundays & Mondays:  CLOSED

Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 12:30 - 8:00 pm

Thursdays & Fridays: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Saturdays: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
